About What Colours Suit Me?
What Colours Suit Me is an online AI beauty tool for exploring colour palettes, hair directions and makeup shade families. It combines a photo-based preview with practical guides you can read before choosing a look.
How the photo preview works
Upload a front-facing portrait, choose the result style and goal, then generate a preview. The result offers an estimate of visible colour harmony and suggested directions for the question you selected, such as clothing colours, undertone or hair colour. It is an AI-generated visual reference rather than a calibrated measurement of your skin or a professional in-person draping session.
Use soft, indirect daylight and a clear image without strong filters. Coloured lighting, makeup, reflections, hair dye, camera white balance and image processing can change the visible clues. If the result does not match what you observe in consistent daylight, compare real fabrics or ask a colour professional rather than treating the label as a fact.
Where the seasonal guides come from
Our seasonal palette library uses the familiar 12-season framework: temperature, depth and colour clarity help describe a proposed palette. Each guide links to its framework reference. For example, The Concept Wardrobe’s Dark Autumn guide explains the broad seasonal distinctions. Our outfit combinations and HEX selections are illustrative editorial examples, not an official colour standard.
Different consultants and 12- or 16-season systems may use different names and boundaries. An undertone alone does not determine a season; skin depth or ethnicity does not assign one either. Compare several fabrics of similar depth in consistent light and use the guidance as a starting point.
What the results can and cannot do
A palette can help you compare clothes you already own, narrow down lipstick or blush families, and prepare questions for a stylist. A screen emits light while fabrics and cosmetics reflect it, so a HEX swatch is not an exact shopping specification. An AI hairstyle or hair-colour preview cannot guarantee the same outcome on your actual hair.
We do not provide medical diagnoses, salon dye formulas or box-dye shade numbers. Before bleaching or colouring, discuss existing dye, hair condition, achievable lift and maintenance with a qualified colourist.
Free preview and optional payment
The generation flow starts with a free watermarked preview. Clean exports and report options are optional paid unlocks; check the price and included output before checkout. The pricing page describes the available options.
